Sarah works for the YMCA at Camp Kitaki, a YMCA Resident Camp for kids. She is actively involved with the horse program for the camp. She designs curriculum, teaches riding lessons and purchases horses for the camp. In addition Sarah processes camp registrations and reservations. Julie and Sarah met at church. Julie overheard someone behind her talking about their involvement with horses |
and kids. After the service was over Julie and Sarah met and exchanged information. Sarah was hooked and started working with the program as a volunteer and then as an instructor for our adult clients. She also helps with Lucky Boy when he makes his visits. She is in charge of one of the centers for our Day Camps. Whenever there is a special Sunrise activity such as fund raising or exhibition rides by our special riders she is there!
