Pat is a Physicians Assistant at the Nebraska Urban Indian Medical Center.
Pat started with the program in 1999 as a volunteer and loved it so much she has continued to the present. She started as a sidewalker then a groomer, and then a leader. Eventually Pat began teaching riders, especially those with physical needs. She renewed her love for horses and refreshed her riding abilities. With all her ducks or rather horses in a row she worked on her certification, which became a reality. In addition to teaching Pat is an assistant spotter with Lucky Boy when he makes his therapy visits. One of her favorite parts of the program is being one of the presenters for our special Day Camps with kids from Cedars Youth Services and Immanuel Rehab. Recreation Services.
