Julie has her Masters Degree in special education and has taught in all grades. She has been working with horses, specifically Arabians, over the past 30

years, training and showing. But she has been riding since she was two years old! Therefore, this program is the perfect fit for her two loves, horses and teaching. She no longer teaches school so she can dedicate all of her time to all aspects of the program. She is certified by the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA). Julie also put into place the program for our visiting miniature therapy horse, “Lucky Boy” who visits rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, community centers, etc. Julie is a certified handler and Lucky Boy is certified in Animal Assisted Therapy under the Delta Society.
