| My daughter is a very shy 16-year-old who has trouble expressing herself, especially in new situations. She had an immediate bond with "her" horse Rajati, and it didn't take her long to warm up to her instructor, either! At her final lesson last fall, she was trotting and I think she told everyone she knew about that accomplishment! Everyone needs something that they love and that they feel good about, and for Haley riding is it. As we left the barn one night last fall, Haley summed up her feelings best. "I love this place," she said with a very broad smile across her face. |
